In short
LocalInbox gives every account Undo Send (5 to 30 seconds), Send Later, snooze and “remind me if no reply”. A small helper sends scheduled mail and brings snoozed mail back even while the app is closed. Archive, move, delete, flag and snooze can all be undone with ⌘Z.
Take it back
- Undo Send: choose a delay from 5 to 30 seconds.
- Every triage action is undoable: archive, delete, move, flag, mute, block, snooze, Mark All as Read.
- Moves wait 10 seconds before reaching the server, so a quick undo never touches it.
Send it at the right time
- Send Later, with an Outbox for scheduled and failed messages.
- Snooze with presets or a custom time. Snoozed mail comes back to the top, unread, with a notification.
- Remind me if no reply.
Writing
- Rich text or Markdown, inline images, attachments by drag and drop.
- Signatures and send-as aliases per account, templates and Send Again.
- Drafts save on your Mac and in your server's Drafts folder.
Questions
Does Send Later need the app open?
No. A login-item helper on your Mac sends scheduled mail and fires snoozes and reminders while LocalInbox is closed. It needs your Mac to be on.
